Quick startup quide
The user is sent an email containing information on accessing the invitee's iTunes Music Library. This includes a link to access the library and user credentials if a silent login is not being done.
Using secure credentials (username and password) for logging in.
Silently logging in which is specified by you when sending the invitation. This automatically passes the credentials and logs in for the user.
You can also turn off the security and not requiring your users to login to play your music.

Support for radio streams in playlists. Can now copy and add iTunes radio stream links to a playlist and have them played in iPlayAnywhere for iTunes and iPlayAnywhere for the iPhone.

Can add My Pictures, My Documents, My Web Documents and Other Stuff lists to the bottom of your iPlayAnywhere information.
When you use with your iPhone you can use the iPlayAnywhere iPhone app or the iPhone Safari browser. If you are using the iPhone Safari browser you will get a mobile web page optimized for the iPhone mobile capabilities.
Use with a Router/Firewall - things to know if you are using a Router and/or Firewall and how to make sure you have Internet access to the iPlayAnywhere web server.
Security and the User Manager for managing user names and groups for secure sign in access. Also lists signed in users which can be selectively signed off from the PC. User can signout from the web pages.
Email Manager for managing invitation email addresses. Also the email addresses can be used by the Security Manager as user names.
Special options for program startup. The user is now prompted on program startup asking whether to re-scan the iTunes Music Library or not. A new -noinit
option has also been added to turn off automatic re-scanning. A -silent option is used when scheduling iPlayAnywhere to run in th background when Windows starts up.
Select a playlist and the page below is displayed showing all the playlist tracks. Then select the t rack to play.
The Application runs on your PC and works with iTunes to acquire the list of all your songs, podcasts, TV shows, movies, and playlists in your iTunes Music Library.
The application is used to send an email invitation containing information on accessing your iTunes Music Library using a web browser. The application itself or the iPlayAnywhere for iTunes home page can be used to send email invitations. Use the home page to send invitations from anywhere using your web browser.
A iPhone or any web browser can be used to access and play your iTunes Music Library. Click the link in the email invitation.

Invite User - used to send an email invitation allowing remote access
Test Media Server Access - used to test the web access to your library.
Refresh - refreshes the song list. This option reprocessing all the iTunes Music Library songs, podcasts, TV shows, movies and playlists.
User Manager - expands/collapses window to show/hide song list. Song list is hidden by default.
Setup iPhone - displays information to setup your iPhone iPlayAnywhere application, if purchased.
Setup Router - displays information on setting up a Router/Firewall for iPlayAnywhere for iTunes.
Security - turn security on enabling username/password authentication.
Caching - turn on caching of audio, video and other files.
Auto Refresh - turn on auto refreshing of information when your iTunes Music Library content changes.
Right arrow - changes to shrinked mode.
Also Add - when selected indicates to add any files in the My Pictures, My Documents, My Web Documents and Other Stuff folders and make them available via iPlayAnywhere.
These will show up at the end of the iPlayAnywhere main web page, iPhone Safari web page or iPhone iPlayAnywhere application main window.
(n) on the button, e.g. My Pictures (52), indicates the number of files in the folder.My Pictures - this folder contains any pictures you want available. Click My Pictures to open the folder then drag n drop pictures to the folder.
My Documents - this folder contains any pictures you want available. Click My Documents to open the folder then drag n drop documents to the folder.
My Web Doucments - this folder contains any pictures you want available. Click My Web Documents to open the folder then drag n drop web documents (Internet web page links) to the folder.
Other Stuff - this folder contains other files you want available. Click Other Stuff to open the folder then drag n drop other files to the folder.
To exit shrink mode, click on the shrinked window icon.
The stop light is green if iPlayAnywhere is ready or red if processing has not completed.
Stop light: has two states green for web server ready or red for web server not ready.
A Web Server not ready or ready status text is displayed along with the full IP address of the iPlayAnywhere Home Page. This is the IP Address sent with the invitation.
Clicking the status area displays the iPlayAnywhere Home Page as does clicking the Test Web Access toolbar button.
The last part of the status area indicates how many iTunes Music Library songs (songs, podcast, TV shows and movies) were found and their total size.
Application runs on your PC (web server) and is accessible via any web browser (client).
Gets song list from iTunes and makes available via a built-in web server. All artwork thumbnails are clickable which when clicked will show the full-size artwork image.
Remotely access and play your iTunes Music Library using any browser.
Send invitations for accessing your iTunes Music Library via email to yourself or your friends.
Sort by clicking on the web page heading. Clicking the same heading again toggles the sort.The default sort is ascending by song name.
